Lakeside Cottage is situated in the Coln Valley, within the grounds of The Inn at Fossebridge, an historic hostelry dating back to the 17th Century with Georgian additions.

It is today a beautiful Cotswold retreat in an area of outstanding natural beauty, with wonderful grounds and fine food. You will find many pretty hamlets and villages nearby which seem to look today as they did a few centuries ago.

Property Detail

  • The accommodation is very spacious and can sleep up to ten guests in three double rooms and a dormitory room which has four beds.
  • There is a large sitting room tastefully furnished with armchairs and a sofa.  Satellite TV, Video and a CD player are installed. Adjacent is the main bedroom with en suite shower, W.C. and wash hand basin.
  • The kitchen has modern appliances including a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, large fridge-freezer and gas hob with electric oven. The dining area is adjacent with a large table and chairs.
  • Also on the ground floor is the second double bedroom. Upstairs is another double bedroom, with a king size bed and a fourth bedroom with four single beds. In addition, a family bathroom with a bath, shower over the bath, W.C. and wash basin.


Local Area

The cottage is a short drive from Cheltenham, Cirencester, the delightful capital of the Cotswolds, Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold. Warwick Castle, Stratford upon Avon, Oxford and Bath are also easy day trips.


Local Services

Excellent traditional food, local ales and wine are served daily at the Inn at Fossebridge.
