The Italian island of Pantelleria lies in the Strait of Sicily, in the narrowest point of the Mediterranean Sea between Europe and Africa.  The private villa resort of Monastero was founded by photographer, Fabrizio Ferri to fulfill a dream of peace and rejuvenation.  It is situated in the heart of a national park, facing the sunset far away from the summer tourism routes.

Villaggetto is the striking family villa of Monastero composed of five “Dammusi” which accommodate 10 to 12 people.  Villaggetto’s guests have exclusive use of the swimming pool, the outdoor sitting room, the Arab garden and the patio dining area.
