Mas de L'Apevoun, the house of the beekeeper, was restored by its former owner, a renowned British interior designer and included in "Top 100 Designers" by "Architectural Digest". This house has been featured in House and Garden Magazine.

Property Detail

Mas de L'Apevoun is a peaceful haven and combines utter sophistication with rustic charm. The farmhouse is very near St Remy and the Alpilles district, the part of Provence loved by artists and poets; Cezanne and Van Gogh worked here. The monastery where Van Gogh spent his last months and painted some of his most outstanding works is near the mas. Guests will enjoy dining in the deliciously shady garden and swimming in the large private pool.

 

There is a huge double height family kitchen / sitting room with stone floor and traditional Provencal fireplace. It is a relaxed, stylish and cheerful environment with lime washed walls and beautiful furnishings and makes a sophisticated glamorous and comfortable home.

 

There are 5 double bedrooms upstairs; a main bedroom with bathroom, 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin rooms. There is also a separate bathroom with bath and shower and one shower room. Downstairs is one shower room. The bedrooms are air-conditioned.

There is an outside dining area.
